Gerard House

Casa Gerard began as a personal and close commission: to renovate an existing villa in Jávea without losing its relationship with the Mediterranean surroundings. The intervention builds on what was already there, updating the home through a serene and respectful architectural approach.

Continuity between inside and outside organises the project and expands the everyday experience of the house. A palette of neutral tones and carefully considered textures brings unity to the whole, while light accompanies the spaces and reinforces their timeless character.

The result is a home that finds balance between memory and transformation. The renovation and interior design do not seek to impose themselves, but to reveal the essence of the villa and create an open, light-filled way of living connected to the coast.
